A feud develops due to The O'Hara's trying to move in on the Mitchell's territory. The book is really well written, everything seems chaotic when we hear one story then straight onto another, but they do all make sense. Donny ends up having twins boys, Beau and Brett, with years later something terrible happening to one of them which is the course for some bad things occurring going forward. It's full of relationship dramas, blended families, mixed cultures, murders, lots of drama! It was good to read how the story came together with all the different characters, and if one thing is clear throughout the book is that Kenny is most definitely a family man, and will do anything....anything for his family. I was in ICU for 3 days and moved onto a high dependency ward. On day 4, unable to communicate, I signalled to the nurse to help me put in one ear pod and sync the pods and my tablet. She pressed play.

Early Life

This review is going to be difficult to write as I don’t want to give away any spoilers, so here it goes. Michael Butler is Vinny's younger brother. Family is everything to the Butlers and Mitchells and Michael knows this. But he is starting to take another look at his life but then he witnesses something that will change everything regarding the family.

As the years pass we are able to see the very complicated relationship of brothers and cousins develop in interesting and competing ways. Dan the growing presence of the family while Little Vinny is the businessman of the next generation, and how the women of the family can see through all the men and get to the heart of the matter. If one was looking for marriage or relationship advice the last people you would be the Butler family. Kimberley Chambers is one of those unique writers that can make dysfunctional families addictive reading. This book got me through the worst days I have ever experienced. I have a long way to go, but I was discharged today. Then to put not one but two families into one story was always going to be very interesting to say the least but wow did she pull it off. Vinny oh Vinny ....... is over the moon to be working alongside Eddie. Vinny is now aged 56 and life is looking good and certainly on the up, new club and at last he has met the one woman who might just be someone he wants to settle down with.

I really cannot get into the plot. I wouldn’t know where to begin. Be assured though that these books are addictive and enthralling. I loved them all. There was a whole cast of characters in the story, and a lot of them weren't the good kind. Considering all that was going on, it was kind of funny that the one who made me cringe the most was a mom & housewife, sort of. *I'm looking at you, Joyce* He never felt Irish and having never really lived there, he classed himself as an Englishman. Irishmen reminded him of his drunken father. The first book in a trilogy of the Mitchell's and the O'Hara's, when Jimmy O'Hara slashes Eddie, Eddie retaliates by beating Jimmy half to death with a baseball bat, there in is born a feud that lasts a life time. Both have kids and go their separate ways however fate brings both families together in a way neither could imagine with life changing consequences. As Tainted Love is the fourth book in this series, I had reservations KC would not be able to match the high caliber of her previous books, but bloody hell I was wrong, not only has she wrote another blinding book, but she has surpassed herself. This is a book stuffed with tension, violence,and treachery, which moves along like an express train, leaving you no time to catch your breath! Believe me when I say “you are in for a hell of a ride”. As the book reaches its climax I was left breathless, so much happens in Tainted Love I really felt I was on the worlds biggest roller coaster, my emotions were all over the place, as secrets are revealed that will change the Butlers life’s for ever.
